The following is a breakdown of the classes currently raced at Stratotech.

ROK/ROTAX Junior

ROK/ROTAX Senior

Rotax DD2 Senior/Masters: Adopted by Stratotech Park to race on Wednesday nights. Powered by a 125 cc engine, the DD2 has a 2-speed no-lift-shift and can reach speeds up to 140 kph.The RM1 is designed to eliminate the chain drive thus promising a high performance, low maintenance kart of the future.

KART RACING FLAGS
GREEN: Used by the Starter to start all track sessions and races, and sometimes by the corner marshals to indicate that the track is clear. Some races may be started by using the light system. BLACK FLAG DISPLAYED BY STARTER: Informs drivers that a session has been halted because of a reason other than accident or incident. Drivers complete the current lap and proceed to the pits. Karts entering the pits must remain in single file and stop in the pit lane. If during a qualifying or race session, no work or service shall be performed on any karts until after the track has been re-opened, except under the direction of the Steward or Technical Delegate. BLUE FLAG MOTIONLESS: Another competitor is following you very CLOSELY. BLUE FLAG WAVED: A faster competitor is trying to overtake you.
YELLOW FLAG WITH RED STRIPES: Advise drivers to take care. Used to indicate a slippery surface such as the presence of oil, water and/or debris on the surface.
YELLOW: Any YELLOW flag is a signal of danger of any nature at or beyond the station displaying the flag.

YELLOW MOTION-LESS:Take Care, Danger, Slow Down. NO PASSING FROM THE FLAG UNTIL PAST THE EMERGENCY AREA(S). Note: a driver may encounter several YELLOW flags before reaching the emergency area. The requirements are the same, SLOW DOWN, NO PASSING.

YELLOW WAVED: Great Danger, Slow down. Be prepared to stop. NO PASSING FROM THE YELLOW FLAG UNTIL COMPLETELY PAST THE EMERGENCY AREA(S).
Note: AT AN EMERGENCY AREA, THERE MAY BE MULTIPLE KARTS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT. IT IS THE DRIVE’S RESPONSIBILITY TO NOT PASS UNTIL FULLY PAST THE END OF THE EMERGENCY AREA(S).

FULL COURSE YELLOW: During a full-course yellow, the starter will display two (2) yellow flags. Whenever possible, double yellow flags will be displayed from flag stations around the circuit to indicate a full-course yellow condition.

WHITE FLAG: Informs driver that a vehicle which is traveling at a much slower speed than the competing karts is on the track. The slow moving vehicle might be an ambulance, service vehicle or slow moving kart.
RED FLAG AT START / FINISH AND BLACK AT ALL POSTS: Should a decision be made to stop any track session, including a race, because of accident or an incident, a RED flag will be shown at the Start/Finish line and simultaneously each corner post will display a BLACK flag.

It is the responsibility of all drivers to stop racing immediately, slow down, exercise extreme caution, be prepared to stop, and proceed to the start/finish line. Karts must stay in single file. If during a qualifying or race session, no work or service shall be performed on any karts until after the track has been re-opened, except under the direction of the Steward or Technical Delegate.

B & W TRIANGLE, WITH KART NUMBER
Warns the driver of unsportsmanlike or unsafe conduct and that a penalty may be pending. Flag is only used once per driver per on-track session.
BLACK FLAG WITH KART NUMBER: Informs the driver to complete the current lap and stop for consultation at the pits, or at a location designated by the Steward or Clerk of the Course.
CHECKERED FLAG: A BLACK and WHITE CHECKERED flag. Racing must stop and all drivers must slow down, complete one more lap and return to their pits or other designated areas.
BLUE WITH RED X: Shown to a driver about to be lapped or who has already been lapped. The driver must stop racing, move off the racing line and return directly to the pits. This flag is unique to karting and may be used at events if specified in the Event Supplementary Regulations.
BLACK FLAG WITH ORANGE DISK AND KART NUMBER: Informs the driver of a mechanical problem likely to cause danger and to reduce speed and stop at the pits.
